About the Author

Melany Burrill is a lifelong United Methodist with more than 25 years' experience in sexuality education with teens, young adults, and parents within a variety of faith communities. For 16 years, Melany was Director of Christian Education in a United Methodist congregation in suburban Northern Virginia. She has a Master's degree in Religious Education from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.

Melany is Author/Educator for Many Voices, an online clearinghouse of worship and educational resources for the welcoming church movement (coming in 2010 at www.manyvoices.org). Her book, All God's Children; Teaching Children About Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity (2009) is available at www.rmnetwork.org.
