Bisexual People

The Discipline doesn't address bisexual people directly. The paragraph on sexuality says some very positive words about everyone being of sacred worth and understanding that our sexuality is a good gift from God. Although it's silent on bisexuality, it does say that same-sex practices are incompatible with Christian teaching. So depending on a partner's gender, a bisexual person receives mixed messages from official United Methodist Church statements.
